Dr. Shankar obtained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco.  Upon graduation in 1991, he has held teaching positions at the University of Pacific School of Dentistry Faculty for three years and practiced general dentistry in San Francisco, San Jose & Concord.  He is an active member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Mateo County Dental Soceity, UOP Alumni and San Bruno Chamber of Commerce.
