Dr. Thompson was born and raised in the twin city area, attended the University of Minnesota and graduated from dental school in 1968. After 2 years in the Navy, he joined Bass Lake Dental and has continued to build his practice in the same location ever since. We realized some years ago that people's lifestyles were changing and would appreciate extended office hours and onsite specialty care.

Our practice is dedicated to quality, caring and convenience and the creation of long term relationships. Dr. Thompson is a general dentist with particular interest in cosmetic care and is a member of the American Dental Association and Minnesota Dental Association. He enjoys golf, wilderness activities and travel. He and his wife Marilyn have two grown sons, Peter and Ole.
