How to download the viewer...

1. We recommend reading through these instructions entirely, or printing them, before you download the viewer.

2. To achieve the very best image quality we recommend setting your monitor to thousands or millions of colors. NOTE: If you are using AOL, skip ahead to step 4.2.

3. Download the MAC 68k PhotoBubble Viewer. (178k)

Note: You must have Stuffit Expander, or an equivalent BinHex converter to translate BUBVU68K.HQX. Stuffit Expander will create a folder BubViewer68k which contains the BubViewer68k application.

4.1 Now you are ready to setup your browser.

The directions for setting the Preferences in Netscape 3.0 are below. The procedure is similar for other Web browsers.

a. Choose General Preferences from the Options menu.

b. In the Preferences:General Window choose the Helpers tab.

c. Click on the New button.

d. On the Description line, type: application/photobubble (or whatever you want to describe the entry)

e. On the Mime Type line, type: application/photobubble.

f. On the Suffixes line, type: BUB

g. In the Handled By box, click on the Application radio button.

h. Click the Browse button located next to Application.

i. Go to the BubViewer68k folder and select BubViewer68k. Click OK.

j. BubViewer68k should now be listed as the Application for the file type application/photobubble.

k. Click OK.

Your browser is now configured for the PhotoBubble Viewer. When you click on a PhotoBubble the Viewer will automatically launch. *Note: Go back to the helpers window and verify that the file type is set correctly.

4.2 For AOL users only:

Unfortunately, AOL's current browser for the Macintosh cannot be set up to use any plugins or helper applications. Therefore, you currently cannot view photobubbles with the AOL browser.
