Dr. Grampp was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in nearby Arlington, VA. He received his college education from Brigham Young University in Utah. After 3 years of undergraduate work, Dr. Grampp was accepted to Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, Illinois. He went on to receive his DDS degree in 1979. Since then he has maintained a private dental practice in the Northwest Phoenix area. Dr. Grampp attends hundreds of hours of continuing education courses each year to stay on the cutting edge of ever changing dental technology. His dental practice offers a wide range of services that includes virtually all disciplines of dentistry. In fact, he was one of the very first dentists to do laser dentistry in Arizona. His main focus is in the area of cosmetic or aesthetic dentistry. This not only restores someone's teeth and smile, but also can often restore someone's self esteem as well. Dr. Grampp is a clinical instructor for the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, a post graduate facility affiliated with Baylor University. The institute is a hands on facility where doctors from all over the world come to learn the newest procedures and techniques available in aesthetic dentistry today. He has also taught seminars at Baylor University in Dallas, Texas and the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. Besides teaching other dentists, Dr. Grampp has lectured and has written and published articles in many professional journals. He was also chosen for the Who's Who of Professionals in America. Dr. Grampp hosts a live one-hour weekly radio talk show on Phoenix radio that discusses the latest developments and technology in dentistry. The program focuses on helping people learn how to achieve and maintain good dental and overall health. In his spare time, Dr. Grampp enjoys many sporting activities including basketball, softball, skiing, snowboarding, golf, racquetball, and biking. He also enjoys music and plays the guitar, the piano, the drums and sings. He and his wife, Nancy, have five daughters, one son and a growing number of grandchildren. |
