Dr. Lee Engel, following college, entered graduate training and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky in 1969. He practiced general dentistry in the United States Air Force until he decided to specialize in orthodontics. He received his Master of Science in Orthodontics, Cum Laude from St. Louis University. Dr. Engel is certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Engel has a special interest in 1st and 2nd phase treatments for younger patients to enhance and direct positive skeletal growth. He also enjoys treatment planning, preparing, and completing Orthognathic surgery cases. He devotes many hours each year to continuing education in orthodontics.

Dr. Engel is past president of the Greenville Dental Society, the Mississippi Association of Orthodontics, and the Mississippi Dental Association District II. He is an active member of the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the Charles H. Tweed Foundation, and the American Association of Orthodontists. A Sunday School teacher and Rotarian, he is married with two children.
