Dr. Aszterbaum graduated from Fountain Valley High along with her two sisters. Her twin sister is also a dentist who practices in Tennessee. Her younger sister is a gynecologist who practices in the area. Dr. Aszterbaum and Dr. Schmidt both attended U.C. Irvine and received their Doctor of Dental Surgery Degrees (D.D.S.) from Emory University in Atlanta Georgia. Both have extensive postgraduate training. Dr. Schmidt complete a two year residency at Ranch Los Amigos Medical Center/University of Southern California in general dentistry and special care dentistry. He has had advanced training in prosthetic rehabilitation of severe dental disease and is able to provide dental care for people with special care needs. Our commitment to maintaining and improving our dental skill and knowledge is reflected in our participating in over one hundred hours of continuing dental education every year.
